Treadmill Options
Fans are used to imitate the natural wind velocity of a moving horse. For example, when a horse is galloping on the track it is creating wind velocity, relative to the speed in which it is traveling, as it moves through space and time. This naturally created “wind” cools the animal. When the motion is static, as it is on any treadmill, this natural cooling mechanism does not function, and therefore needs to be created artificially. This option can be very beneficial in lowering the temperature of the horse to a similar level of a traditionally trained horse.
Two-Phase Inverter – Your Tread-Safe Treadmill can be custom built to suit your power source. While our standard machine requires 3-phase 50-amp power, an inverter can be fitted to enable operation on 2-phase 50-amp power. Should a lower power supply be in place, contact us regarding the availability of a hydraulic system. Overseas?
